My name is Eoin Joy and I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences here in UL. As part of my Phd, I am conducting a national survey into the fitness testing practices of PE teachers in Irish secondary schools. The title of this research is:
Along with my supervisory team, led by Dr. Brendan O’ Keeffe, we will be investigating how teachers implement fitness testing in PE, the components measure and tests used as well as general attitudes to the place of fitness testing on PE curricula.
