Physical Education Subject Inspections: What can be learned?

This session will outline the procedures for subject inspections of physical education and provide a summary of the inspections done to date and critique what that tells us about physical education inspection. Patterns that appear in a sample of completed inspections related to physical education provision, planning and preparation, teaching and learning and assessment will then be discussed. Recommendations made and how schools / teachers have responded will be shared.
